An Explorer Belt is one of the highest awards in Scouting for Explorers and Network members aged 16 to 25. It is also probably one of the most exciting adventures that Scouting can offer. In brief, it is a ten day expedition that brings a real understanding of a different country, its culture and way of life. Participants will develop this understanding by travelling through their chosen country, working as part of a small team, completing a series of projects and most importantly by meeting and engaging with local people.
